Carbon Audit (also called carbon footprint) is a means of measuring and recording the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by an organization or a structure functioning within a specific system. The Yuen has planned to carry out carbon audit in the Wong Tai Sin Temple, Social Services, Medical and Education units to monitor the results of its green projects.
The Yuen has measured the carbon emission of the Wong Tai Sin Temple, Social Services and Medical units for the year of 2012-2013 as baselines for the carbon audit. We have analyzed the distribution of the carbon emission in order to formulate appropriate green measures as well.
